Many placement services are paid by the community a family chooses, often a large share of the first month’s rent. That can quietly shape which options a family hears about. Utah Care Network is built the other way: nobody pays us, so nothing pulls a referral anywhere but toward the best care.
What we promise
- Families never pay. Not for help, not for referrals, not later.
- Providers never pay. No listing fee, no referral fee, no placement fee, no paid ranking, no “premium” spot.
- No referral swapping. No one is ever asked to send referrals back in exchange for receiving them, and we never keep score.
- You choose. A family or patient can choose any provider, in the network or not.
How providers get into the network
Every licensed provider in Utah is already listed, from Utah licensing records, Medicare Care Compare and the federal NPI registry. Providers can claim their listing free to keep it current and to send and receive referrals.
Our relationships with providers
One of our founders is a part owner of a hospice and home health company. If a referral could go to that company, we tell the family in writing first, offer other choices, and that company is treated like every other member: it pays nothing and receives no special placement.
